Program 2: Don’t just retire pass the torch:
Baza Education, through this program, enrolls retired teachers and educators as Baza Coordinators to help support its tutoring program and primarily to provide guidance and counsel to younger tutors. These retired professors and educators help pass the torch to a vibrant new generation. Each year we organize seminars to better communicate the vision and objectives of the project to our coordinators and tutors.
Team USA, Canada and the local committee are volunteers. We pay the salary of 134 Baza employees in the 21 villages during Baza year (January-July).
we have 17 coordinators and 117 tutors in rotation for this program.
Annual budget is about $20,000.00
