Wenesso Foundation a offert des vivres alimentaires aux orphelinats au Togo

In a burst of patriotism, the Diaspora for Development organization WENESSO FOUNDATION, a charitable organization in the USA, generously offered food kits to the Enfant Heureux orphanage in Tchamba in Togo.

The food kits included bags of corn, rice, cans of oil, pasta, cartons of tomatoes, cans, a goat and biscuits. This donation aims to provide crucial support to orphaned and destitute children at the Happy Children’s Center during the end-of-year festivities, including the Nativity Festival and New Year.

The donation ceremony was marked by touching messages from the children expressing their gratitude to Wenesso Foundation, songs, words of exhortation and encouragement towards the poor and their supervisors. Gifts and toys were also distributed to the children to brighten up the occasion.

By symbolically handing over the donation, the coordinator Mawussi Elom, underlined that this action of the Wenesso Foundation is part of the project “Assistance and Support for Orphans in Togo”, the 11th edition. He specified that 24 orphanage centers benefited from similar donations throughout the territory for a total cost of 5 million FCFA as part of this project.

Orphanage officials expressed their gratitude to Wenesso Foundation, praying that this gesture would ease the children’s pain and contribute to the social development of these vulnerable young people. They assured that the donation would be used judiciously for the welfare of these children.

Wenesso Foundation aims to educate and promote economic, social and cultural well-being by assisting vulnerable African communities. The organization strives to provide aid, relief and expertise to Africans to reduce or eliminate poverty, thereby aiming for equitable social justice in Africa.
